A Great wine begins with great grapes!
Here’s how a winemaker grows grapes. Visit our Roseburg Vineyard for a visit to our tasting room and then see how our grapes are growing!
Plenty of healthy leaves to produce energy to the grapes, however pruned so that the vines are opened up and the sun is able to fully develop the grapes. These are older vines with roots that are reaching deep into the soil, so no irrigation is needed for these Pinot Noir vines. Due to the soil (terroir) the grapes are receiving complex minerals which will later be tasted in an exquisite wine.
Beautiful young grapes basking in the July sunshine.
